A second batch of trainers will be delivered by 30 September, under a five-aircraft deal worth Zl 4.4 million ($1.4 million), which also includes a logistics support package and spare parts.
The aviation training centre will use the DA20s to train 160 future pilots, both military and civilian. It has operated two of the type since December 201, under a previous acquisition worth almost Zl 3 million.
Additionally, the air force academy has also ordered two Guimbal Cabri G2 two-seat light piston-engined helicopters for nearly Zl 3.2 million. The pair will be delivered to Deblin during the second half of 2013.
