Russia's low-cost carrier Red Wings has taken delivery of its first two Tupolev Tu-204-100s from Ilyushin Finance. These 10-year-old, 210-seat twinjets were previously operated by KrasAir (AirUnion) and have been delivered to Red Wings following overhaul.
The airline, which already operates a Tupolev Tu-154M, has two more Tu-204-100s (one ex-KrasAir and one ex-S7) being prepared for service by Aviastar and has orders for 11 new-build Tu-204-100s, of which five will be delivered with the more advanced Aviadvigatel PS-90A2 engine.
