Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) has unveiled the R300 unmanned helicopter, which it is aiming at meeting the requirements of the nation's land forces and navy.
Derived from the design of the Mosquito Aviation Mosquito XE kit helicopter, the R300 has a maximum take-off weight of 300kg (660lb) and is expected to have a flight endurance of 4h, while carrying equipment including an electro-optical/infrared sensor payload.

TAI says the aircraft will be able to send images from a distance of up to 27nm (50km).
