Virgin America has partnered with US lingerie chain Victoria's Secret as the official "Airline of the Angels" for the 2007 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show to be held on 15 November.

Victoria's Secret flew 27 of its models from New York to Los Angelese in their own Virgin America aircraft which they named "Runway Angel" during a press conference on the tarmac on landing.

Charles Ogilvie, director of inflight entertainment and partnerships at Virgin America, said in a statement: "This is a partnership made in heaven: some of the most beautiful women in the world flying one of the sexiest [aircraft] in the skies."

The models practiced for their runway show in the aisles during the flight.

The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show will take place at Hollywood's Kodak Theater on 15 November and will be broadcast 4 December.

Ogilvie said at a press conference in September to publicise the November fashion show that "lucky guests will get to fly in style with the Victoria's Secret supermodels and check out the latest Victoria's Secret PJ fashions at 35,000ft. The in-flight PJ party will be one of three exclusive PJ parties hosted by Victoria's Secret".
