The US National Transportation Safety Board is investigating a JetSuite Phenom 100 runway overrun at the Sedona airport in Arizona.
According to initial reports by the NTSB and Federal Aviation Administration and reporting by AZfamily.com, the flight was arriving at the airport from San Jose around 16:00 local time on 25 May but the two pilots apparently could not get the twin-jet stopped on the airport's single 1,554m (5,100ft) runway. None of the five on board - two pilots and three passengers - were injured after the plane left runway and travelled approximately 46m down an embankment.

The NTSB had already been investigating a Phenom 100 runway excursion in Brenham, Texas in September 2010. A preliminary report on that incident revealed that the pilot had "zero braking" after landing. Embraer had experienced growing pains with the brake-by-wire system, though mechanical and software fixes as well as revised training were thought to have eliminated the issue.
