An Airbus A380 test aircraft underwent positioning and ground servicing tests at Lufthansa Technik’s Frankfurt facility on 8 April, after arriving at the German city the previous evening.
The maintenance company’s parent airline is due to take delivery of its first superjumbo in May, with further A380s to follow in June, July and September.
In addition to its positioning and ground servicing tests, the test aircraft was used to conduct a fit check of the A380 hangar’s newly installed, €2 million tail dock, which was manufactured by Dutch company NIJL Aircraft Docking.
