Pilkington Optronics of North Wales has been awarded a contract worth more than $2 million to supply the US Air Force with laser eye protection spectacles for aircrew.
The spectacles provide protection against devices such as laser range finders and target designators via sophisticated polycarbonate lenses with a high transmission dielectric coating.
