Wolfgang Piller has taken over as chairman of the Eurocopter Deutschland supervisory board, succeeding Dietrich Russell, who took up the post of director general of Airbus Industrie on 1 April. Piller is a member of the Daimler-Benz Aerospace (Dasa)board of directors, responsible for external relations, and also holds the presidency of the German Aerospace Industries Association. Eurocopter Deutschland is a subsidiary of the Dasa/Aerospatiale-owned Eurocopter joint venture.
