The Polish-built Sikorsky S-70i is a landmark programme for the country's industry. 
Poland's former state-run and stagnant industry has embraced the global aerospace industry with a passion. Within a decade, it has sold all its aerospace assets to big foreign manufacturers. At the same time, it has fostered a vibrant mini-supply chain or cluster in the south-east of the country by encouraging entrepreneurs and investors to set up.
