US cargo carrier Polar Air Cargo has taken delivery of the first of five Boeing 747-400Fs leased from GE Capital Aviation Services. The aircraft will operate on routes from New York and Chicago to Tokyo, Hong Kong and Taipei. The -400Fs will add to Polar's fleet of nine -100Fs and five -200Fs.
