Embraer has confirmed firm orders for four EMB-145s from Lisbon, Portugal-based Portugalia Airlines (Flight International, 22-28 January). Deliveries will take place between May and November. There are provisional delivery dates in 1998 for two additional aircraft on option . The order is valued at $90 million. The EMB-145, which has Brazilian and US Federal Aviation Administration certification, is expected to receive European certification this month.
