Raytheon has put Dr Hugo Poza in charge of its new Homeland Security division, which has been designated as one of the company's four strategic business sectors.

Poza says: "My job is to focus on providing customers with technologies, solutions and services to protect borders, airports, ports, airspace, computer networks and to assist first responders in crises and disasters, drawing on Raytheon's considerable capabilities and talents across the company."

As a result of its extensive defence technology background and experience in airport security, Raytheon says it offers a one-stop shop for infrastructure protection, with an array of capabilities.
