Pratt & Whitney has established a new commercial aftermarket division in a reorganisation that splits its former large commercial engine unit in two. The restructuring includes a change at the top of P&W's large engine management. The unit's president Robert Leduc is moving to United Technologies sister company Hamilton Sundstrand Flight Systems as president. Leduc's position was dissolved on 1 December and replaced with chiefs for the aftermarket and new engine units.
