German cargo specialist charter broker ProAir has launched an aircraft management and sales arm following the acquisition of a regional airline, as it grows its business aviation portfolio.

Stuttgart-based IndustrieFlug came into the group last year and ProAir will use its air operator's certificate to launch the new ProAir Aviation division. The company launched its management division last month and has a Beechcraft 1900 so far on its books. It plans one additional aircraft under management a year.

ProAir is also set to expand its brokerage division, ProAir Charter Transport, into Moscow by the end of the second quarter and plans to open a Dubai office, says Marc Schweizer, ProAir managing director.
