Lockheed Martin flew the first F/A-22 Raptor production representative test vehicle (PRTV) from its Marietta, Georgia, factory on 16 September. Eight PRTVs are to be delivered to the US Air Force's Nellis AFB, Nevada, next year for operational testing and tactics development, starting in the third quarter, to ensure the F/A-22 meets USAF requirements.
