Airbus has taken delivery of the main cargo door for its outsize Beluga XL transport.
The door, fitted with hydraulic and electrical systems, was constructed by Stelia Aerospace.
Airbus has already received the upper fuselage on which the door will be mounted.
The door was conveyed to Toulouse by road and barge from Stelia's Rochefort plant.
Stelia says the door, 10m long and 8m high, weighs 3.1t
"[It] is the largest aircraft door ever manufactured in Europe," it adds.
Airbus will gradually introduce the A330-based Beluga XL into service from 2019.
