The new high-speed propjet Jetcruzer 500 has been unveiled by AASI Aircraft following a six-year development costing $57 million in private and public funds.
The single-engine pusher aircraft is designed to provide the cheapest and highest-speed propjet transportation in the world, reports the manufacturer, with a price tag of $1.4million and a cruise speed of 320kts (590km/h).
Dr Carl Chen, CEO and President of AASI, says: "Larger cabin class accommodations for the passengers, and seats spread out 14 additional inches, now bring Jetcruzer to the luxury light jet level."
