The US Navy has awarded Northrop Grumman two contracts worth $80 million for work on EA-6B Prowler electronic warfare aircraft. One, worth $46 million, provides for work on wing centre sections and inner panels for ten aircraft. The second, for $34 million, initiates re-manufacture of four Prowlers to the Block 89A configuration. Flight tests begin in July.
