Didsbury Engineering is displaying a unique air transportable unit to safely purge fumes and residual fuel from aircraft tanks.

The Purge-Air System, officially launched on Monday (Hall 1, Stand D10), allows maintenance engineers to enter fuel tanks and perform inspections a quarter of the usual time.

Mike Bailey, managing director Didsbury Engineering said: "The system is an all-in-one solution that saves cost, reduces aircraft ground time and offers the safest possible environment for maintenance staff to work in."
