WARSAW-BASED AIRCRAFT manufacturer PZL-Okecie has upgraded its PZL-104 Wilga general-purpose light aircraft in the hope of securing more export orders. The PZL-104 M Wilga 2000 is powered by a 225kW (300hp) Textron Lycoming IO-540, and has AlliedSignal Bendix/King avionics and a new wing offering increased fuel capacity and endurance. The aircraft also has new aerodynamic fairings around the undercarriage legs. The Wilga is best known as an agricultural aircraft.
