Poland has selected Pratt &Whitney Canada (P&WC) over FiatAvio to be the strategic investor in the privatisation of aero-engine manufacturer PZL Rzeszow. P&WC is the profitable Polish company's largest single customer, accounting for 25% of sales. Last month, EADS agreed to buy a majority stake in Polish aircraft manufacturer PZL Warszawa-Okecie as part of deal to sell eight P&WC PW127-powered EADS CASAC-295M transports to the country's air force.
