Qantas Airways has confirmed a codeshare agreement with regional carrier Airnorth for services between the northern Australian city of Darwin and the Indonesian city of Bali.

The Oneworld Alliance carrier says in a statement it will codeshare on Airnorth’s services from October 17, after it drops its own services on the route. Qantas announced recently that it was withdrawing form the route due to losses. Airnorth recently took delivery of its first Embraer E-170 and said it planned to offer twice-weekly services between its Darwin base and Bali from the first week of September.
