Qantas has deferred delivery of its fifth, sixth and seventh Airbus A330s due in mid-2003, by around two years. Last year, the airline delayed its first four deliveries by nine months, with these now due to arrive between November and early 2003. The latest deferral comes as part of the airline's withdrawal from the Indian market in March, which will allow the Australian flag carrier to transfer Boeing 767s from international routes to the domestic operations that were to be served by the new Airbus widebodies.
