Australia's Qantas Airways has started a new non-stop service today between Canberra and Darwin.
It will operate on the route three times a week, using Boeing 737-800 aircraft, says the carrier.
"Strong demand from government and business customers on one-stop services that connect the two markets has led to our launching of this new route, which will also appeal to leisure travellers," says group executive Qantas Airlines commercial Rob Gurney.
Qantas is the only airline operating on the route, according to Innovata.
