Australia's QantasLink plans to start a service between Adelaide and Port Lincoln in southern Australia from 15 February 2010.
The service will operate 23 times a week using Bombardier Q400 aircraft, says QantasLink executive manager Narendra Kumar.
The carrier will compete against Regional Express on the route, according to Innovata.
QantasLink adds that it will receive its 18th Q400 this week. The carrier already operates a fleet of five Bombardier Q200s, 16 Bombardier Q300s and 11 Boeing 717 aircraft.
