Radom takes wraps off PC-9 prototype

Radom Aviation Systems is displaying a prototype of its upgraded Pilatus-built PC-9M. The aircraft are being supplied to the Slovenian air force. The Israeli company has fitted a new mission and weapons system, as well as a Lockheed Martin F-16-like cockpit that includes a FlightVisions Sparrowhawk head-up display. The aircraft first flew in late May. The changes add 50kg (110lb) to the empty weight.
