RAF strike command

Air Chief Marshal Sir John Allison (right) joined Headquarters Strike Command at Royal Air Force High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, as Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief and Commander Allied Forces Northwestern Europe, at an informal ceremony at the headquarters on 25 July. He succeeds Air Chief Marshal Sir William Wratton (left), who is to retire from the RAF after nearly 40 years of service.
