The French defence procurement agency (DGA) has awarded Thales an E86 million contract to develop a second demonstrator for the RBE2 electronic scanning radar with active array antenna for the Dassault Rafale combat aircraft.
The contract will cover the feasibility of equipping the Rafale's RBE2 with an active array antenna based on European technology.
