Raytheon Aircraft has launched a programme to gain approval for the Hawker 400XP light business jet to operate into London City airport by flying the first steep approach and landing. Raytheon Aircraft Services in Hawarden, Wales will now complete the supplemental type certification programme with the UK Civil Aviation Authority and European Aviation Safety Agency.
