Raytheon is at Asian Aerospace with a locker full of its products, from jet and turboprop aircraft to state-of-the-art missile systems and a wide range of sensors and communications equipment.

In the Asia-Pacific region, the firm is a leader in commercial and special mission aircraft, integrated air defence, naval systems, weapon systems, training and services and command control for military and civilian applications, including air traffic control.

Several of the company's operating units are represented at the exhibition (Hall A/1110/1412), including Raytheon Aircraft Company, Electronic Systems and Aircraft Integration Systems.

On the aircraft side, the firm has brought a Beech King Air B200, a Beech 1900D, and Hawker 800XP. The Beech King Air is the best-selling turboprop business aircraft ever made, with 2,000 now delivered around the world. It has also been bought by the four branches of the US military and is owned by a large number of international special mission operators.

Reconnaissance

Raytheon Electronic Systems has a range of surveillance and reconnaissance systems, and electronic warfare systems. It includes the HISAR radar and integrated system, that can be used in an executive class airplane.

On the missile system side, the Raytheon team will be talking about a range of products including the Paveway laser-guided bomb, the Maverick air-to-ground missile, the famed Patriot air-to-ground missile and the Harm (High Speed Anti Radiation Missile).

Over at the Command, Control, Communication and Information Systems team, the talk will be of enhancements made to Flexible Independent Radar Skills Trainer (First) simulator, including the next generation training tool called FirstPlus.
