The Defence Systems Division of GEC-Marconi Avionics in England has been awarded an Intention to Purchase (ITP) to provide its new Sky Guardian 2000 Radar Warning Receiver for the new support helicopter for the Royal Air Force, the EH101-Merlin MK3.
The outcome follows intense international competition conducted by GKN Westland Helicopters on behalf of the UK Ministry of Defence.
