The Red Arrows, Britain's aerial ambassadors, took time out from their performance schedule to perform a flypast of Dubai's newest landmark, the $2-billion Jumeirah Beach Hotel.

While the Red Arrows are in the news in Dubai with their flying display appearances, the new hotel will be making headlines of its own in London where it will be formally launched tomorrow at the World Travel Market.

At 26 storeys and 600 rooms, the hotel is Dubai's biggest, and forms part of a beach resort development that includes the spectacular offshore tower complex which is scheduled for completion next year.
