Embraer's smallest regional jet, the 37-seater ERJ-135, has gained Brazilian certification and expects the FAA to follow suit by the time deliveries begin in July, to American Eagle and Continental Express. Bombardier, meanwhile, has gained Canadian certification for its Q400 turboprop, with FAA certification expected in July. Horizon Air is the North American launch customer for the Q400.
