US regional airlines are being offered access to an automated revenue-management system without the need to make a capital investment. BehavHeuristics, which has supplied systems to USAir and Icelandair, claims that its ReArm ticket forecasting and optimisation software can increase an airline's revenue by between 2-5%. Airlines pay a connection fee of between $20,000 and $40,000, plus a monthly charge for use.
