German regional start-up Rhein-Neckar Air has begun flights between Mannheim and Berlin on 10 March.
The Mannheim-based carrier will conduct twice-daily return flights to the capital during weekdays, says Berlin’s airport operator.
The flights will be operated with a Fairchild Dornier 328 turboprop by MHS Aviation, a wet-lease specialist for the type in Munich.
Defunct regional carrier Cirrus Airlines served the Mannheim-Berlin route before it ceased operations in January 2012.
