Staged at RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire from 17 to 18 July, the annual Royal International Air Tattoo attracted around 350 aircraft from around the globe.
Fighters, trainers, transport aircraft, helicopters and display teams from 16 nations and 32 air arms were among the attractions on show this year.
Highlights included return appearances by the US Air Force's Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor and head-turning Cold War bomber Avro Vulcan XH558, and a rare appearance by a Bf 109 fighter. The EADS-owned veteran participated in the 70th anniversary commemorations of the Battle of Britain.
