Mesaba and BAE Systems have launched an investigation into a 15 October incident at Memphis Airport in which an Avro RJ85 was damaged. It was being returned to the terminal by two mechanics after undergoing diagnostic testing during taxiing. The aircraft, leased from BAE and part of the Northwest Airlink fleet, crashed into the airbridge, causing substantial damage to its fuselage, wing, and engine.
