Avions Robin has developed a factory-designed silencer system for its two-seat HR200 and R2160i light trainers. The Dijon, France-based manufacturer claims that the system "-reduces noise significantly, while adding nothing to drag and little in extra weight". The aircraft is expect to appeal to training schools in noise-sensitive areas.
