Associated Air Center (booth 5365) has received a supplemental type certificate for installations of the Rockwell Collins Tailwind 550 satellite TV system on the Airbus ACJ.
The system receives satellite TV over the continental USA, Europe and the Middle East.
“Associated Air Center now offers a new capability for the availability of a full range of TV programming in the cabin, whether in flight or on the ground,” says president Jeff Bosque.
The system uses a fuselage-mounted antenna and rotates 360° while pivoting -10° to +90° for greater up and down angle. A dynamic reaction rate enables it to quickly stay on target.
