In what it describes as an unprecedented role change with its major partner Swissair, Crossair is wet-leasing an MD-11 from its parent company this summer and autumn to perform its weekly flights from Zurich to Palma de Mallorca.
"Demand for the Saturday service between Zurich and Palma has been quite phenomenal from individuals and tour operators," says Crossair executive vice president product management Josef Felder.
