Rolls-Royce will extend its TotalCare support package for the Trent 800 engines that power Singapore Airlines' fleet of Boeing 777-200s and -300s.
The engine maker, however, did not disclose any further details on the extended support agreement.
The new agreement comes less than three months after R-R announced a restructuring of its shareholding in Singapore Aero Engine Services (SAESL) joint venture with SIA Engineering, which saw R-R buy out Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering's (HAECO) 20% stake in the venture.
In June 2015, Rolls-Royce also signed an expanded TotalCare support agreement to cover SIA's 19 A380s.
The expanded agreement covered non-routine on-wing engine maintenance. This included aircraft-initiated line and on-wing maintenance, staggered checks, engine change and lease engine management, and life-limited parts' technical records, said R-R.
Flightglobal's Fleets Analyzer shows that SIA operates 30 777-200s and -300s.
For clarity, the word "extends" has been substituted for an earlier version's "expands"
