Chris Hornblower is named vice-president for Seattle operations at Rolls-Royce Inc, of Reston, Virginia, the US arm of the UK aero-engine manufacturer. John Hodson, senior vice-president for engine operations, is to retire in January 1996. Hornblower was formerly director of engineering at R-R Commercial Aero Engines, at its Derby, UK headquarters. Chris Winfield, now vice-president for aircraft programmes in Seattle, will return to the UK to take up a management position with R-R Commercial Aero Engines.
