Paul Heiden has been appointed an executive director of UK aero-engine company Rolls-Royce from 1 July, when he becomes managing director of the Industrial Power Group. Heiden, now finance director of the Aerospace Group, succeeds Richard Maudslay, who has resigned as an executive director. John Rivers, now personnel director of the Aerospace Group, has been named director of human resources at R-R, following the retirement of D'Arcy Payne, director of corporate services. Tony Roulstone rejoins the Aerospace Group as director of business development and performance after more than four years as managing director of R-R Nuclear Engineering, where he is succeeded by Bob Sunerton. Sunerton, now managing director of R-R Industrial and Marine Power, will be succeeded by John Kempster, chief executive of NEI Africa, of Johannesburg, South Africa.
