Prime contractor Alenia Spazio has completed integration of the European Space Agency's comet explorer spacecraft Rosetta, which now will undergo testing at the agency's technology centre, ESTEC, in the Netherlands. The craft is due for launch on an Ariane 5 booster in January 2003 on a lengthy journey towards a rendezvous with the Comet 42P/Wirtanen in 2011 and a landing of a small craft on the comet's nucleus.
