American Airlines will begin three daily flights between Dallas Love Field and New York LaGuardia on 31 August using a Fokker 100 with 56 first-class seats. American also operates four daily flights between Love Field and Los Angeles using the Fokker 100s. The airline has expanded its codeshare agreement with Iberia to offer flights to Barcelona. British Airways franchise GB Airways will begin services from London Gatwick to Tenerife in October. British Mediterranean Airways, also a BA franchise, has launched direct flights between London Heathrow and Aleppo, Syria. Virgin Atlantic was scheduled to begin twice-weekly services between London Heathrow and Delhi on 5 July using a Boeing 747-200. The service will operate under a codeshare with Air India. Cathay Pacific will begin a three times a week service between Kong Kong and Karachi, via Bangkok on 1 September using Airbus A330s. British European (formerly Jersey European) will commence flights between London City and Jersey on 7 July with Bombardier Dash 8s. A twice-daily Exeter-Jersey-London City service will also begin. The airline will introduce two daily services between Jersey and the Isle of Man via London City. Midwest Express Airlines will commence non-stop jet services between Indianapolis and Boston on 1 October. Transavia Airlines is increasing services between Amsterdam and Kathmandu, with a stop at Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates, from one to two flights a week from 21 September. The route uses Boeing 757s. Delta Air Lines has begun a codeshare service between Paris and Kiev, Ukraine, with its partner Air France. The round-trip flights will be operated five times a week by Air France Boeing 737s. American Trans Air will begin non-stop services between South Blend, Indiana, and Chicago's Midway on 15 September.
