Air Canada will launch services from Vancouver to Cancun and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, in mid-January, using Airbus A319s. KLM will cease its three times weekly services between Amsterdam and Nagoya via Sapporo in Japan on 1 February. The airline will serve these destinations through a codeshare with Japan Air System. British World Airlines is operating a weekly triangular charter flight from London Gatwick to Skopje, Macedonia, and Tirana, Albania. United Airlines will begin weekend Boeing 777 flights between Denver and Honolulu, Hawaii, on 2 February, and reinstate daily Los Angeles- Honolulu Boeing 767-300 and San Francisco-Honolulu Boeing 757 flights on 15 February.
