Thai Airways International started codesharing on four Phuket Airlines routes on 27 October. The agreement covers 10 weekly flights between Bangkok and Ranong; three weekly flights from Phuket to Bangkok; four weekly flights from Bangkok to Mandalay and seven flights from Chiang Mai to Bagan. Swiss International Air Lines will resume direct flights on Saturdays from London Heathrow to Sion from 21 December until 26 April, 2003. China Southern Airlines is introducing a Guangzhou to Los Angeles Saturday evening service, from 2 November, using a Boeing 777.
