-American Trans Air (ATA) is to boost daily departures from Chicago Midway by 50% from 1 May, and has committed to 12 gates at the new Midway terminal. ATA will serve 20 destinations from the airport.

-Delta Air Lines will expand its operations to Central America from April with six new daily flights from Atlanta. The new services will include flights to Panama City, Guatemala City, San Salvador, San Jose and Caracas. Delta is also expecting to launch services from Portland, Oregon, to Osaka and Fukuoka in Japan. Delta and regional Trans States Airlines plan to codeshare at New York Kennedy, while Delta Connection carrier Business Express is to discontinue services from New York Kennedy and focus codeshare operations on New York LaGuardia and Boston.
