Delta in China - Delta Air Lines and China Southern Airlines have begun a non-stop codeshare service between Los Angeles and Guangzhou. China Southern operates the route three times a week with a Boeing 777. Guatemala bound - Continental Airlines will begin a non-stop Saturday service between New York Newark and Guatemala City, continuing to San Salvador, El Salavador. The service, to be operated with a Boeing 737-700, will be available between June and September. Frontier expands - Frontier Airlines is adding flights from its Denver, Colorado, hub to New York La Guardia and Seattle. A third daily non-stop will operate to New York and a fourth daily non-stop will be added to Seattle. London launch - US Airways has set 12 June as the date for the launch its awaited daily Boeing 767 transatlantic service, linking London Gatwick to its main hub in Charlotte, North Carolina. But, at the same time, the carrier will have to suspend services between Amsterdam and Philadelphia, finding itself temporarily short of aircraft.Seven new Airbus A330s are due next year. Continental/Alaska - Continental began codeshare flights with Alaska Airlines and its regional subsidiary Horizon Air in April. The carriers will share codes on 43 routes. San Juan service - In June, American Trans Air will begin six weekly services linking San Juan to New York Kennedy and Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
