Air Canada will begin daily flights between Vancouver and Denver on 3 April and between Montreal and Denver from 5 June. Services will start between Toronto and Austin-Bergstrom International in early June. All routes will use 112-seat Airbus A319s. From mid-May, Air Canada regional affiliate Air Georgian will begin three-times daily services between Toronto International and Akron-Canton Airport in north-east Ohio. Swissair firmed up its codeshare agreement with El Al on 13 February, which will be implemented next month. The deal will see the two airlines offering 25 weekly frequencies on their services between Zurich/Geneva and Tel Aviv. The flights from Tel Aviv will be performed according to a new schedule that will match the three-wave system at Zurich Airport. That will enable Israeli passengers to fly with Swissair to many of its European, North/South American and Far Eastern destinations. German regional Augsburg Airways will begin a new service between Münster Osnabrück and London City Airport on behalf of Lufthansa at the end of March, using Bombardier Dash 8s. Operating under the Team Lufthansa brand, the twice-daily services will connect to a new service between Münster and Nuremburg. Air France plans to codeshare on Delta's Comair flights to 31 destinations beyond Cincinnati beginning 26 March. The agreement is subject to US Department of Transportation approval. Belgian low-cost airline CityBird has begun short and medium haul charter flights with the first of five Boeing 737s (three -400s and two -800s) on behalf of the NUR Touristic group. Northwest Airlines will launch a daily non-stop service between Minneapolis/St Paul and New York Kennedy Airport from 1 May. Northwest and Gulfstream International Airlines, a Continental Connection carrier, are to codeshare on the Florida-Bahamas routes, from 2 April.
